A Child Focus

October 17th 2006 00:20
A Child Focus.

As a community we need to focus much more on the training of our children. We need to know what is happening in our schools. There are alarming reports of children in year nine being taught what is virtual participation in homosexual lifestyles. They were asked to write about how they would cope in a homosexual group. They were also told not to discuss this with parents on the grounds that the teachers wanted their own responses. I object strongly to this kind of indoctrination of our children. The homsexual lobby is a small part of society trying to gain not only approval but a total takeover of normal relationships and the sooner we identify their intention the sooner we can respond appropriately. They want equal adoption rights as well as marriage rights. This is patently inappropriate for the children concerned who, having lost their biological parents, need at least an adoptive parent of each sex. They are currently a minority group having a huge impact on media and government. I’m not at all certain that the majority of Australians want to support their agenda and it’s time we spoke up about it. I think we have gone about as far as we should go in accommodating them. We don’t want our children taught that agenda in schools. That can well wait until they are eighteen. I’m tired of having this agenda in my face whenever I go to theatre or watch television. In fact it’s getting that way that I have no enjoyment of it any more.

Schools are for teaching reading writing and arithmetic, in case we didn’t know. To a major degree that is being shelved in favour of politically correct thinking. However, this is not producing literate people and universities are having to go back to teaching basic grammar. I can’t see the value in this. I think a full examination of what Australia is on about is essential before we lose everything we’ve built so far. Any child who is told not to discuss something with their parents is in great danger. This is what child abusers do! We can’t afford this sort of experimentation with our children’s education. Let’s not tolerate this. I don’t agree that toleration is the great ideal in Australia. We worked too hard and died for freedom, but toleration is not the same thing!

Sometimes tolerance is not a good thing. It will enable a bad guy to keep on doing bad things, for instance.Kids should be encouraged to work with their parents, and parents should not jump in and do the work for their kids.

I'm all, duh.

About right, Deorre. They say that what we'll put up with is what we'll get! This is not the best way to run our relationships, or our community!

If we'll put up with bad behaviour, then we'll get it. Just try putting up with everything the kids do! Better to let the standards be known and stick to them. I think the days of "tolerance" are over and out. It's a misconception of freedom and it's wrong!

If people put up with abuse, they'll continue to receive it. Once they call the bluff it loses it's power. We need to set the standards for our own relationships, our children, the education system, for business, and for Australia - and not only the standards, but also the consequences!
