Are You Depreciating Enough

I’m looking at the title of an article on investment properties. It wisely says that you should consider employing the services of a Tax Depreciation Scheduler in order to maximize your taxation deductions. It further says that his fee will more than likely be saved in the first year of the asset, but will continue to be operative for many years following that. Sounds like good advice to me.
:Now I’m having a lot of fun lately. You see, I’m beginning to understand that the spiritual (supernatural) design is the model for the physical (creation) design, so there are many parallels. So perhaps there is a parallel for the above wisdom in relation to real estate assets.
Here goes!
Our assets of good deeds are recorded in Heaven and there are rewards (only if you first believe Jesus and arrive there!) Jesus said “Lay up treasures in Heaven, where moth and rust do not corrupt them.” That’s great. There’s no depreciation up there! Come to think of it, there’s no taxation either! There goes my theory!
But not altogether. The depreciation on our lives occurs down here. We do need an asset appreciation/depreciation schedule. The body disintegrates until the final metamorphosis into a spiritual being, with a possible destiny in Heaven (or alternatively in hell). But our lifestyle is subject to spiritual disintegration or corruption down here. When our lifetstyle pleases God we reach Heaven and receive rewards. When it doesn’t relate to God, we don’t!
Our lifestyle was meant to be expansive, because we are made in the image of an expansive God – forever growing, learning, perceiving, understanding until our metamorphosis (death of the body, release of the spirit). The spirit which has attached itself to God (appreciated) will go to Heaven. The spirit which has not (depreciated) will go to the bonfire – the energy of God will burn it forever. Therefore assess your depreciation. You can’t actually afford any! We need to appreciate – in more ways than one!
